This exhibit opened on Constitution Day 2004, and interprets the development of Madison's political thought, his influence on the drafts of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and his documentation of the birth of our constitutional form of government, for posterity.
The exhibit includes a century-long time line, relating Madisonian events to what was occurring in the nation and the world as a whole.
